John Zarate: Brandon Woods Buck

About Me

Being native to rural Mesquite, Nevada it only comes natural being an avid outdoors man. I have a deep love for wildlife and wild places of the silver state as well as the rest of the west. I understand the importance of preserving the moments and memories we experience in the field. In 2004 I decided take my passion to a new level and attended the Academy of Realistic Taxidermy in Havre, MT. There I learned from a Master Taxidermists, Manny Chavez and, Steve Fichner the art of recreating natures works of Art, as well as the tools and knowledge to make them stand out from the rest. Since then it has been full steam ahead in the growth of my shop and clientele base. I work on a smaller scale to ensure the quality and preservation of each mount as well as to maintain a prompt turn around time of your trophy. Taxidermy has afforded me the opportunity to meet and make friendships as well as being able to share in on the moments of the hunt.
